Living Design, a Swedish Interior Design company since 1984 and with long experience in hospitality and over 250 hotels in its portfolio, has established a new development company Living Design Development of Sweden AB in order to develop and build its acquired new hotel at the municipality of Botkyrka, south of Stockholm. Living Design Development of Sweden AB is currently looking for an investment partner to jointly complete this unique hotel complex and develop the brand of Living Hotells as a new breed of couture hotels with the first to be rolled-out in Stockholm.
Living Design Development of Sweden AB have secured the project land and completed the preliminary designs as well as submitted all design reports and studies to the local municipality for obtaining the construction permission. The company has been working in close cooperation with the municipality for over 4 years to complete all studies such as soil investigations, traffic & safety regulations, etc., as well as approvals. The hotel complex is composed of 195 rooms including 30 Long Stay Residences, Conference & Meeting Rooms, a Multipurpose Hall with a Ballroom, 3 F&B (food & Beverage) outlets, Gym & Fitness Center and a shopping arcade. The hotel is situated at the entrance of the South Gate of Stockholm and shall be considered as a landmark on the European E4 highway.
Hotel Location & Uniqueness
LIVING HOTELL is strategically located in the very heart of the gate to Stockholm, on the main European highway E4 south of Stockholm. The access to & from the hotel is ideal to the highway on both directions north and south. The hotel complex shall be a “land mark” for the area where plans indicate rapid growth via development in the next 10 years.
FROM THE SOUTH side of the project there is a vibrant shopping area with big names such as Bauhaus, ICA Maxi among other highly decorative names, and from the north, the largest IKEA in Sweden as well as the complex of Heron City. The Stockholm underground station named “Hallunda” is just 150 m away from the hotel site connecting all guests to the city center with less than 20 min ride.
